The application procedure for SRRC approval can generally be divided into a 4-step process:
1. Type approval testing – testing of equipment by the State Radio Test Centre (SRTC);
2. Application – formal application submitted to the SRRC;
3. Evaluation – application is evaluated by the SRRC;
4. Inspection – the SRRC will conduct post market surveillance of the approved equipment;
After issuing the process notice, the SRRC will evaluate all submitted material and decide if the license is granted or not. If the evaluation is successful, the SRRC will sign and approve type approval within 20 days. If discrepancies are found, notice will be given to the applicant in writing.The certification is valid for 5 years. The manufacturer can submit the application for another 3 years? validation before the certificate expires.
